Ally Group is a privately-held company based in Amsterdam. We build products that we expect to operate for decades, not quarters.
Our story
Founded on the idea that software can be both a business and a civic act.
Ally Group was founded in the Netherlands around a simple conviction: the craft of building durable software should not be reserved for commercial problems alone. The same rigor that produces reliable SaaS can — and should — be applied to the institutions that shape young lives.
We are deliberately small, deliberately patient, and deliberately Dutch in our approach. We prefer the boring parts of software: reliability, clarity, accountability. We hold our products for the long term and we hold ourselves to the standards of the people who depend on them.
The group brings several practices together under one roof. Over time, it will run software ventures alongside a small coffee company in Amsterdam and a modest real-estate practice — each with the same operating principles.

Commercial clients, public institutions, schools, and researchers. Good software is rarely built alone — it is built with the people who will use it, in the context they will use it in.

A portion of the group’s capacity is permanently allocated to software that serves young people. Not as philanthropy, but as a core line of business with its own discipline and its own measures.
